PE - Polyethylene is the most common thermoplastic and is used in products such as pipes, cables, plastic bags, plastic foil and bottles. Polyethylene is elastic and does not absorb water and has good mechanical properties and can withstand contact with many different substances.
Polyethylene has high elasticity for temperatures down to -60°C. Is resistant to, among other things, ammonia, chromic acid, citric acid, ferric chloride, fluorosilicic acid, formaldehyde.
